Synopsis

It's the last night of another drama festival. The teams have done their bit and anxiously await the adjudicator's final verdict, but before the glittering prizes can be awarded, there are speeches galore from the chairman, the sponsor and the inevitable local dignitary, not to mention the prize draw and some problems with the new lighting board.

Especially written to be performed at drama festivals, this satirical view of a time-honoured ritual offers not only six very recognisable character parts but also a limitless number of supernumeraries onstage, offstage and even amongst the audience.
